Accompanying you will be Massimiliano Rossi , mountain bike guide since 2010. He has completed numerous courses at the Gravity School and practices MTB at a competitive level. Massimiliano will not only make you discover beautiful routes, but will also help you improve your driving skills.
The tour starts from Bocca di Magra, located just 30 minutes by car from La Spezia, and winds through the Montemarcello National Park. The trails on the tour are mostly very rocky and bumpy singletrack. The excursion is demanding and requires a good level of preparation, both physical and technical. Do you want to rent an E-MTB? DIFFICULTY OF THE TOUR
TOUR PROGRAM
Meeting at 9.00 am at the parking in Piazza XX Settembre, located in Bocca di Magra. We then begin the climb on the asphalted road, of about 4 km, until we arrive at the village of Montemarcello. From there we will go down a small descent on singletrack and then go up to the top of Monte Murlo (360 meters above sea level). Then the first technical descent of the tour will begin on a very rocky and challenging path (see video at the bottom of the page). The trail ends in Tellaro, and then continues on the road to Lerici.
From Lerici go up the asphalted road until you reach the top of Monte Rocchetta (about 300 m in altitude).
Then you go on the last descent, the easiest and smoothest of all, to then reach the starting point where the excursion will end.​
